Just got hit by a sweeper and now 13 uploads has been removed under the reasons of copyright voilations... Okay, no problem with those since when you do apply a strict criteria to them they do indeed voilate copyright and doesn't fully qualify for "fair use", but is it really neccessary to label everyone of them as a case of "Art Theft" too? I mean, ow, those are harsh words considering I do hate art and material thefts alot myself and will report cases and instances I encounter wither directly to the owners or people in charge (Maybe not often on DevArt since I don't browse around that often anymore but there are other places I go to too), but I won't normally mind people who state where they got their stuffs from since I consider them as honest to admit to what they did, and that was the case with most of the stuffs that got labaled in my uploads (Or you can blalantly tell they're from another source anyway). I do admit there are one or two cases in there where "Art Theft" is indeed applicable though and I don't mind those being labeled.

But still; ouch...


P.S: Anyone else got into something similar?
